Dont compare WSID surface to WB's, That track has teeth.

didnt Ben run 9's last year in SRWD on radials but got booted because of a hood lining or something??

I dont think I will be running at my best based on last week...

What has the silvia run?

so the mph seems down a bit???

Probably took some bite out of the clutch, also with turbo cars crap 60 foot -> higher trap speeds. One thing people were commenting about how Kiwi cars normally bog or break at Jambo, if Reece has got his clutch mastered then it should make for some incredible times (like the 7's already). The other cars that came out here and had issues didn't have the benefit of a proper slider clutch setup.

WB is the king when it comes to broken drive line components.......if the boys have done a good track prep(and they usually do), then start line will destroy a few cars this weekend.

WB = Tyranasuarus TEETH......

If any intestaters need somewhere to crash and Adrian can vouch for them Iv got a unit in the city (also have a workshop near city too which may be handy)

After some thought im gonna run blacky... It wont go fast enough but ive already entered so 3 qualifying runs = me having more time in the car getting comfortable with the new setup rather than trying to kill myself on the bike :P First time ever running the v8 down the strip at Jambo!! fark yeah!

Unbeleiveably, congrats to the guys!!

We are thinking of raising the rev limiter for the weekend, see what it will do... Still doubtful it will go fast enough till the new gearbox is in.

    • Hi everyone, I bought the Redline diff oil and the seller has sent me Redline 75W90NS even though that’s not what’s pictured.  I’ve already booked a hoist to go and change my diff tomorrow but I’m not sure if the NS is ok for the rear diff in a R34 GTT I think the NS does not have any slip modifiers so would that be an issue?    thanks in advance
    • Not easy to find pics from 15 years ago, but here is a partial one. Keep in mind that it curved immediately from the airbox, then kept a straight line for the MAF to read correctly, followed by a 45 degree bend straight down to the turbo. This connection was the most difficult as it had to twist as well as bend to meet the almost vertical straight section of the intake.
    • Yes, well, wrt a wheel alignment, there are two types. Either: You have very little added adjustables, in which case the alignment can be done by anyone in any tyre shop or equivalent, and will only take 30 minutes, and so there is no reason to even consider leaving the car there. OR: The alignment is a major exercise because you have adjustables everywhere and so you will need to be taking it to a shop that is skilled and experienced at setting up race cars and the like, and you won't need to worry about leaving the car there.
    • does anyone know the specs of the R35 master cylinder, rear ratio and knee point? the BM57 is a 0.4 rear ratio with a 435psi knee. I'm looking for someone with a much lower knee pressure. the piston area of the R35 brakes isnt that big so might not work for me but this is interesting.. the other option for me is a GU patrol master cylinder and booster and do the prop valve externally.
    • It sounds like by avoiding maintenance you may be doing more damage than a hypothetical guy in a workshop taking it for a spin. Not sure if you are just being paranoid or things are actually that bad in the US. Find a reputable shop not run by dickheads. Look for people that take pride in their work. Stick around for the day if you have to
