That catco $440 one from BOSimporting.com.au (the cat pictured above)

Yes, that dump is very nice. I am sooo tempted to cut and weld the bottom of it off to make a screamer pipe. Its perfect for a screamer pipe... but mm, na

EGA - that cat/dump is the same as mine. It is made by BTMBL or least is IDENTICAL to the one that he made me. I wouldnt be surprized if he supplied UAS.

no they get them from the catco distributor

Is there going to be much of a gain between the stainless one and the mild one like EGA`s one?

Just wondering if im just better off getting the mild one?

Cheers

mild/stainless dont produce perforance gains based just on material, only longevity. However, it will take a long time for rust to go through a 1mm pipe....

as you have a highflow, you cannot use the stainless on anyway, you need a split dump/front pipe with a splitter in it, not the pipe extension.

The dump pipes? Catco make those dump pipes? As far as i knew, BATMBL has them manufactured locally??

nope, the catco distributor supplied the split dump and the cat to UAS

well i just picked up my car from carline mufflers in emu plains, ended up only costing me $70 to fit the cat and the split dump pipe after i sold the old highflow cat that was on the car back to them.

very happy with the price, the quality of work, and the service...cheers mick

if anyone needs an exhaust done, i highly recommend them.

No such thing as boost cut, the ECU has no way of knowing what the boost is.

;) cheers :)

the series 2 ecu's know! Though I don't know what they do with it..

:D cheers

So I guess the factory MAP sensor that's connected to the intake is just there for show, and the cut out my engine hits at exactly 1.0kg of boost is all in my head huh?

you do know we're talkin about the SII Neo engines don't you? the older 33-based engines might not have one,but the neo sure as hell does.

ask anyone who works on R34's and they'll know about it.

both R33 and R34 based engines use AFM's unless you have removed it.

the factory ECU bumps it into rich and retard as stated previously.

(SK has more than passing knowledge of Neo's, personally i wouldn't be tossing grenades that might get thrown back)
