My car is off the road again the cooler has split again im sick of taking it back to this place to get it fixed this is the 4th time it has split so i think this time they can keep the cooler and give me my monie back.

Sounds like they don't know how to weld properly, you need to do it just right or the welds will be brittle and keep breaking, like they are doing.

im surprised cos x's welding and machine work is normally quite good... but yeh definaely take it back and get your money back. its rediculous to break so many times

2k for a cooler and it breaks is not good. Ask for a refund, cause you don't want to have it patched constantly.

Id suggest they made the end tanks with too much surface for teh thickness and without internal stalks

yep they got the core in and then made these custom poor excuse for end tanks up and then after it split 3 times they made new end tanks .I wonder what they will say this time ? if i were them i would hang my head in shame and give a full refund.Its a ****ing joke a performance shop that can't fit a cooler

if you can afford jap stuff then great, but if youre money tree didnt survive the summer like mine didnt then its best to look at the local products cos they aint that far behind

After much umming and arrring, I have decided on a garrett turbo. I'd love a HKS or trust external wastegate, manifold jobbie etc etc etc... but I cant justify spending more on the turbo than I did to buy the car. The car cost me 550,000yen, a decent turbo kit with manifold and wastegate is close enough about the same.... just doesnt make sense. I'll be going a GT25 garrett with internal wastegate that bolts onto the std manifold. If I'm not happy after that, I'm buying a GTR No point in throwing more money at a gts25t when a stock gtr beats it already

Even with the turbo you'd be lucky to beat a GTR with factory turbos. Rhino ran a 12.4 with upped boost, so if you goal is to beat that, then buy a GTR.
