Ok I been wanting to do this for a long time to my car so here’s the plan for my 250rwkw’s

This is what I have budgeted for each part.

1 x New turbo (GCG rebuild or custom garrett) - $2000

1 x Z32 AFM - $300

6 x 500-600cc injectors - $700

1 x Bosch 044 fuel pump - $250

1 x New clutch (what would be good for 250rwkw + drivability in heavy traffic? thinking twin plate or organic) - $800

1 x PFC ECU - $1450

1 x S/S intake pipe - $100

1 x EBC - $650

Things I am unsure about are weather I should get

1 or 2 x adj cam gears - $250 each (do I need 2?)

2 x new cams - $??

I also plan to sell my old parts when I change everything over.

1 x stock turbo - $450

1 x stock afm - $150

6 x stock injectors - $300

1 x stock fuel pump - $100

1 x stock clutch - $250

1 x stock ecu - $250

1 x 2 stage boost controller - $230

are these prices around what I can buy/sell at?

Also for installing/removing all these parts how many man hours/$$ should I leave for this? I have the $$ for most of the parts at the moment but will probably buy a few at a time.

sounds great inasnt

thats all you need you only need one cam gear forget the cams for now 1k + for them.

If you go gcg go the stage 2 at least.

go the organic clutch much easier on the foot.

every thing else sounds good.

try to make your power @ aroudn 1 bar of boost so tell gcg that when you order the turbo you might get some lagg but it will be better for engine life

cheers

meggala

yeah the flywheel is good.

get your self 11's if you go for a turbo combo thats good for helping the motor make 400HP. The turbo will be rated at 450HP max flow I guess as a rule of thumb.

Some good rear tyres would be worth while. Apparently ford falcons have the same PCD on their rims. That means Mickey T's on a set of old 14inch ford mags for the drags, so you can do 'street tyre' passes.

INASNT,

just what you might want and at a very good price also.

btw, sounds like a very nice plan but i'd stay away from the twin-plate clutch if it's a daily driver.

that's fair enough INASNT although i guess you can get the turbo and wastegate checked out by a turbo specialist and if at the worst case, a turbo rebuild will only cost around $400.

wastegates don't usually stuff up, so that should be ok.

it's a pretty good price considering you get an external wastegate, manifold and dump pipe with the package.

re: clutch - if you can find a centreforce clutch kit, i'd go for this with a sprung centre ceramic puck clutch, very streetable and offer very good clamp force.

do you have a preference for a ball-bearing turbo or it doesn't matter as you can get yourself a very nice bush-bearing turbo combo for way less than $2k.

did u speak to dennis at P.E.T?

I'd recommend you do, he'll be able to help you out with a good turbo combo for the RB25.
