Warning! Black Ice Is Bad.....

I had a pretty bad experience last year.

Went round a very gradual corner at 40, usually take it at 60. Half way through turning my car very casually lost all traction.

the rear wheels must have been spinning at sync with the road too, as the 4wd couldn't pick up that I was suddenly traveling along the road at 90 degrees.

Ended up going up a gutter and just avoiding a tree, which really pissed me off cause I just spent a month looking for hubs after having my car go sideways up a gutter. Anyway, ended up on the road facing the other way, somehow the car was still in gear and hadn't stalled.

Yeah I thought things in the GTR might get bit hairy this morning seeing how much ice was out on the road but wasn't as bad as it looked. (Nice cold semi slicks on there!)

I copped the -5 loveliness at about the same time this morning.

I'm so living in the wrong city!
