bogcock
hey im not sure if this is in the right section, but here goes. i was working recently for a engineering company, and one of the guys i worked with informed me that roll cages are no longer alowed on the street. This worries me because i am currently building a new car, WITH A ROLL CAGE, and if i cant get it engineered im guna be screwed. Anyone out there know the truth about roll cages and engineers reports/blue slips??? this info is required for nsw obviously... Thanks in advance Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/122739-roll-cages/ Share on other sites
Duncan
I understood that cages have never (at least in the last few years) been allowed. Half cages (hoop behind the driver and legs to the rear wheel wells) are OK, but anything that the driver or passenger's head can impact is not legal. I have a full cage in my acr with rego, but it has rally rego which has different rules to regular rego.
