Of course CDMA can be jammed!! The reason it was (first in the 60's) used for military purposes is that the information can only be retrieved from the carrier by multiplying by the special 'code' wave. The infomration is effectievly encrypted.

With current readily available technology, and of course the availability of stuff on the internet, tech drawings, parts suppliers, anything that emits some type of radio signal can be jammed.

In europe recently, security and fleet management systems have trialled TDMA ( Time division multiple access), even on the higher TDMA frequencies interference and jamming is possible and achievable.

Hence TDMA, CDMA, WCDMA dropped in Europe for sources of reliable tracking and fleet management.

Unfortunately in todays world if someone wants your car bad enough it will be stolen.

Remember when dealing with security products DO NOT GO AROUND TELLING PEOPLE WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR CAR. You might just tell the wrong person.

GSM uses a complex form of TDMA multiplexing

i just did a quick google search and on the first page there was a few companies selling mobile phone jammers that handle gsm and CDMA so it obviously can be jammed.

whether quiktrak uses the same cdma as mobile phones i dont know but to say CDMA cannot be jammed is wrong.

the producs for sale mostly did both gsm and cdma so it did not seem as if cdma is any more expensive to jam.
