There are 3 more of these events scheduled for the rest of 2006 - August, September and October.

Details will be posted each time the events are being held.

You do not need to be experienced to attend this night - it is a practice night, its not a competition.

I have been advised by the organisers that they are encouraging beginners to attend.

If you have concerns, you can call the above number and they will answer any queries you may have.

Cheers

i read on NS that there would be monthly drift sessions at calder, can u confirm this at all?

Read the forum on in the events page titled 'Drifing Is Back At Calder Park'.

It has dates and everything you need to know.

The dates for the rest of the Drift Practice Sessions at Calder this year are on our EVENTS CALENDAR as I said above.

To those that went, what did you think?

I think it was very average because of the way it is now run. Very slow, not enough action and people driving very conservatively not wanting to hit tyres!

Yeh, it was pretty weak.

Takes too long to get a drive, too long between cars, no tandem action.

Meh, I liked the 180 that sounded like a screaming cat and was down with the loudness of that white S13

HAHA I remember the cat! and the white S13 was one of the best drivers.

Hope it's more exiting next time.
