has anyone tried Nismo diff, and are they quieter than Kaaz?

also has anyone recorded the sound of a noisy mechanical diff? I wonder what it sounds like kinda hard to imagine as I've never heard one doing normal operation or during a 3 point u-turn, etc.?

its hard to explain the sounds, it sounds like the plates are ingauging in the lsd. but like i mention before if you uses the correct oil and run the lsd in correcly you wont have a problem as it wont be noisy.

i imagine that a nismo will be similar to kaaz, being that if its uses correctly it shouldnt be that noisy...

The Kaaz 1.5 way that I got came with the carrier bearings and everything else needed. I took the housing out myself and took it to a diff specialist who put it in for $80. But they were going to charge $550 if I just dropped the car off to them! Maybe they thought the whole rear end would have to come out?

Either way, very happy with the diff, for $1050 delivered you cant got wrong!

I just did the bed in process in the middle of the day in the work carpark, makes for some interesting looks...
