Hey ladz,

i have just bought a Greddy PROFEC B 2 Electronic Boost Controller, and im now gonna ditch my good old Turbosmart Bleed Valve type Boost Controller...

seen as though my Turbosmart one is already installed, does that mean i can just replace that Turbosmart gate with the Profec 2 Soleniod and use all the existing connections?

if so this means i can simply take out the Turbosmart one and just put the Profec Soleniod in its place and use all the existing tubing....

correct or incorrect?

any advice much appreciated..

Sounds right.. I just got one of these as well for the s15. There are three ports NO, NC, COM. COM goes to the actuator. Boost source goes to NO assuming you're running an internal gate. Make sure all the plastics caps are taken off the solenoid too if you got it new. I ran some new vacuum lines because before my mbc wasn't mounted, but the solenoid needs to be mounted to the body of the car and my existing lines are too short.

Download the english manual from www.greddy.com. I read it a few times and it helps with tuning it.

Make sure your boost source is coming from a cooler pipe or compressor housing, not from intake plenum. solenoids dont like vacuum.

No.

The bleed will be tee'd to bleed boost off. The ebc has to be inline and will likely have the in and out marked on the case of the solenoid. In is the boost source, out goes to the actuator/wastegate
