Camber Wear On Tyres (help)

It is almost certainly a camber issue.

Put the car on the ground & measure (or photograph) the -ve camber you have at the back end.

The fix is to get some offset bushes from Whiteline & fit them up. Either that or raise the car some.

Had my car up on a hoist today and took some pics. I have tein adjustable (height and damper I believe) coilovers and this is what my rear tyres look like.

Is it bad wheel alignment etc or just this camber issue?

Thats definitely some bad tyre wear.. All though not as bad as my old VS 5ltr that had IRS and lowered on bilstein gear. The first set of tyres only lasted 5,000km's, the outside was like new, the inside was like yours. I was very pissed.

Yup well I dont know how many km's these tyres have done but I certainly want to get the problem fixed before throwing another set on at $400ea

Found out mine was due to the previous owner running the tyres under pressure, and destroying the inside of the sidewalls, causing the tyre to lose strenth, guys at the tyre shop had never seen it so bad. At first they couldnt figure it out, coz i only had 1.8 neg and to get the wear i would have needed at least 10(holy shit) But we got to the bottom of it

What do you guys consider excessive camber?

I am running 2.0neg at the front and 1.4 neg at the back.

The tyres are wearing evenly, but then again i drive my car around corners
