The system is designed for compliance plate holders and not the general public, having end users such as improvise calling up every 5 minutes to see where their plate is really slows things down. His first port of call should have been the CPA holder who could have given him an accurate assessment of plate delivery if they were any sort of operator.

ok. so its more an issue about slowing down the process as a whole than an objection to your particular customers having access to information about the plate.

Yeah absolutely. The feds actually say in reference to import approvals - "Any un-neccessary phone calls may hinder your application" ie dont call us.
