Brake Ducts For R32

Thats what i started the who thread off for they look great.

But sadly i think the front end on a GTR is a bit busy to use them but they look the business though.

Here are some pics I took of underneath my R32 GTR the other day. The factory ducts would be quite good if they were extended further...

I have seen a CFD model of the airflow around the GTR brakes...and they normally have air guides on the castor rods that diverts air up and into the lower part of the inner wheel...and therefore all around the indised of the wheel, the rear of the hub etc..

It would still be good for rotor, caliper, pad, brake line and also wheel and tyre temps. Woudl probably aid a bit of airflow through the wheel well as well which may stop the shock absorbers getting too hot

Its actually a good balanced way of keeping everything that little bit cooler

grr I still want to know why none of our GTRs have those factory brake ducts

I believe they are nismo ducts?
