here's a couple of my stag at Pt Broughton new years day 2009. She towed the 1800kg van with ease 15.8L / 100km and 17.8/100 on the way home with a huge head wind.

Bloody Hell Dan! I hope you didn't encounter any speed bumps along the way.

That 1800kg's definitely puts a strain on your rear suspension.

Nice towball setup though :D

Who did the fabrication and install?

I built the bar from a modified magna wagon setup, Was a pretty big job to get adequite fixings on the M35 chassis rails, wheel well & back panel. The entire setup has about 20 grade 8.8 bolts attaching it. This setup is not rated as such but from my background of electrical and structural engineering i know that the bar is not the weakest link. I am more woried anout the ally sub frame, where other have seen cracking.

The car needs some air bags for towing the van as it sits pretty low and hopefully I can get these installed before my next trip.

Overall it is a good tow car, Very happy with my stag

side skirts only sitting on hence the gap at the front, just a quick test fit of the rims from my other car and now i think they are staying for good :P 18x10+20 offsets with 235 tyres, they sit real nice actually, the rear needs to be lowered abit more before i post a pic of that.

Man that looks awesome.

Do you reckon you will get any rear rubbing with rims that wide? I am about to fit rims on my car and I would love to fit a set of fat alloys like that.

the rear offset is pretty aggressive compared to fronts, i think it shall tuck the tyre in the gaurd but the rim will stick out, hence the reason for 235 tyres so they stretch abit, this is a pic of the rear but its not low at all so when lower it will tuck in abit more. I have the car on the brick trying to get it to lower down abit but it didnt do much. the front rim on in the pic is just a 33 gtr rim.

I wont be driving the car with these on for a while yet so cant comment on scrubing etc until i test them.

^^^ you'll be right when you drop it a little, you'll gain some camber and she'll be apples - beware of inner clearance though as you'll be mighty close to the shock

here's my rears that sit the same as yours, just rear end slammed
