that was me. I've asked many times and no one seems to know.

It's as if the guy has put power steering fluid on top, and it just sits ontop of the other like oil on water.

Your attitude pisses me off. A knowledge base builds up through different people knowing/discovering different things and sharing them. So how about you stop whining that noone knows anything and go find out yourself. The guys here can't be experts on everything, and you shouldn't have a go at them because they can't give you everything you want.

Here's your answer.

um, Govic, I had a look at that thread that you linked to and it makes no mention of A-lsd.

I'm not talking about the diff oil, i'm talking about the oil that the hydolic system uses to activate the lsd in the cars with A-LSD.

Thanks for your help anyways.

using a lsd oil in a v-spec diff is the worst you can do...

its not a normal mechanical diff.

normal gl5 rated oil is whats recomended for the V-SPEC ALSD (normal hypoid oil) as using a friction modified oil in it will ruin the clutch packs (same style as a auto trans)

OHH AND MANHWORE33 the fluid is available at any nissan dealer. :)

The active LSD in GTS25ts is the rear diff from an R33 GTR V-Spec which is what they're talking about in the link.

MANWHOR3, I would just like to officialy say you are a dickhead and dont deserve any help full stop.

But since I am nice I will inform you what fluid it uses... It uses Nissan Matic D (also known as Special Power Steer Fluid) as has been told to you many times in this thread, so I dont know why you keep whinging for an answer.

If you dont believe this that is fine, but its documented in all GTR workshop manuals and this is the same for A-LSD equipped GTS-t's.

Now quit your bitching and instead of whinging no-one has answers, how about you go and experiment and find out yourself next time? A simple call to any Nissan dealer would have given you the answer you are after.

If you wish to call me a dickhead, that's fine. It's just frustrating when I've always been more than willing to help people out and answer other people's questions no matter how silly or trivial they are. e.g. what does this switch do. What oil do I use.

But no one was willing to help me out, so it is not that I was frustrated at people, but rather, I THOUGHT THAT NO ONE KNEW THE ANSWER.

reason for edit: Accidentally chopped part of reply.
