microdots seem to be a great idea.. but i'm sure it's only a matter of time till people work out how to remove them and respray them..

...or move the parts to a place that doesn't scan for them.

would be good to have the full thing as the first 10 mins cover damon's carjacking thing. the show basically starts with a nissan skyline!

They didnt pay for everything under those hoods by selling groceries, and doing tune ups. I bet you they hijack large trucks full of cargo, with harpoon guns and black honda civics with Moshimoto ZX tires and the same green neon glow from under the chassis.

Ahh fast and the furious, gotta love it :P

thats a classic... could not stop giggling......:laugh::laugh::laugh:

last night i re-read the autosalon article with brian el hassan. it's a pretty glowing interview, talking about an "eclectic arsenal" of cars. at one point, el hassan says "why spend all that money on a car and not drive it to enjoy it?". and when i think about all the heartache on this forum and others from stolen cars, the interview really pisses me off.

and amid the "you're so grat", "you're so good for the scene", at no point does the interviewer ask, "so how the fk can you afford all these cars?".

Well i just got my beast back because the barstards ran out of fuel found it 2kms away.

Kill em all playing with one mans import is far worse than the missus. F*&kin thieving b&^teds

Sti's have had them for a few years now and most Subarus have them now. You can't get rid of them, even if you spray over them there are still there, unless you take all the paint off, then they are gone. Its very hard to do because they spray them everywhere so you have to distroy the car .

here's a question. they show brian el hassan getting arrested etc, but did he actually end up doing any gaol over all that shit? they basically said his business MC racing group did next to zero legitimate work and was pretty well foccussed on chopping up cars for parts for sale here and OS. nasty stuff. no wonder comprehensive insurance is so expensive.

i am working on finding an electronic version - i think this is essential viewing for us car lovers.

btw, if you have a copy of it, electronic or otherwise, please PM me. cheers.

    • Haha im flattered! Although my poor boat is collecting dust in the garage, as it hasn’t been driven in like 6 months. I forgot the to put the trickle charger on too, so the battery is likely toast now.. I have the frenchys kit. It is fantastic. My only gripe was that the hard lines from the firewall needed some tweaking, however, this was mainly due to my specific turbo and dump combo. The weight and size packaging is much nicer too. I think I have some pics on my build thread somewhere.. my justification for the kit was more “why not” I had gone to the trouble to modernise just about every other part of the car..
    • Actually, ethanol has probably never been cheaper, on a tax free basis, than petrol. With fuel excise being what it is, and only being levied on the hydocarbon component, not the ethanol component, and ethanol for non-drinking purposes not being subject to liquor excise - E85 was cheaper, but not because the combustible liquid itself was particularly cheaper.
