Probably have to be idiots in autos who don't know how to control the throttle when moving off from lights. Had 2 this morining - as I'm changing 1 -> 2, not going real quick, look in the mirror and car behind is gaining at a rate of knots. Stupid thing is, they generally do it at the next set of lights!

Then ignorant sh1ts who think they can just drive to the front of a long right-turn lane (High St onto Monash Fwy) and expect to be let in, despite the rest of us have had the patience to join the end of the queue. Then probably the nits who let them in!

So the guy merging onto the freeway has the right of the way ? coz when i was down in Melbourne afew weeks ago, i noticed cars changing lanes for me when i was merging in. In NSW its opposite, we have to give way.

No same as NSW here but its a courtesy thing I think is what James and Snowy are saying.

I like to play tow bar fishing, with tailgaters i havent got one yet but im getting better, full licenced drivers in Vans and 4x4's who think they r fcuking race cars cutting in and out of lanes to gain 2 spots, i will kill the next one!

If that had the option of "People who have no idea how to merge" then that would be a winner.

The number of people you see trying to join a freeway at 60km/hr when the traffic is doing 100km/hr is amazing. On top of that - dicks in hoodies driving old commodores that insist of trying to pinch a spot when 2 lanes are merging into one also amazes me. What do they think they are going to gain by jumping infront of 1 car? All they do make everyone else back up further.

Merging is definitely my biggest issue on our roads.

Have to totally agree. There is not way you can join a freeway when your going a good 40km slower than all other traffic and expect it to all be fine...

nah but seriously, tailgating is definitely up there for me. trucks tend to do it moreso, nothing worse than looking in your rearview and seeing a truck 5cm's off the back of ur car

another one is f**ktards who dont know how to use roundabouts. how hard is give way to the right or people already in the roundabout to remember ffs.

one time some lady was in the turning lane, with her indicator on on my right side, there was nothing in the lane to go straight so i was right to go, however, at the last second she decides she wants to go straight jst as i'd entered the roundabout, then has the nerve to flip me off.... leaving me like.... wtf

oh and the thing about people slowing down to merge onto the freeway, god that shits me.

IT's funny that the order they are in (by percentages) is the opposite to how the government thinks they are saving the road toll, and it is the order of problems that need to be attacked.

i picked being cut off or not being able to merge, altho i dont really get to angry about specific things like that, the thing that annoys me is just when people are plain stupid, seeing people just do stupid things sh*ts me, altho i'm no perfect driver ether we all make mistakes.

for those that hate tailgaters, my cousins has an awesome solution. in the back of his corolla he has a nice big hella spotlight facing rearwards moral of the story, dont tailgate any corollas lol

Seriously though i have gone with 2 that really annoy me and thats not being allowed to merge and being tailgated. I'll slow right down and if that still doesnt work i just tap my brakes just so the brake lights will come on and watchin them slam on theirs
