Reason for sale -: to make way for rb30 turbo engine

Other: I have decided to sell the rb20det silver top out of my vl calais to make way for an rb30 turbo engine. The engine has a new timing belt, crank gear and seals and i have receipts. i am unaware of how many km's are on it as the engine was in the car when i bought it but it drives well and doesn't blow any smoke.

i bought the car for the body and have no plans for this engine.

buyer can come test drive in car before i remove it.

it comes complete with manifolds, loom computer, turbo, everything.

i don't have a boost controller installed so it has been running standard boost as long i have had it. previous owner said that it wasn't boosted either. it is very standard. front mount (not included, got stolen), 2 1/2 zorst and thats pretty much it. it used to have an auto behind hit untill 2 weeks agao, i got it changed to manual.

i will not separate sorry. i just want to get ridd of the whole thing.

Engine runs smooth.

i have never had it on the dyno either.

i will put up any further info when it comes to mind. call or pm me for any questions. i may not be able to answer due to work, but i will try and get back to anyone that calls. thanks heaps

not really. i thought it was sold today but once again, another time waster.

what was it that you were after by the way?

may be after the complete bottom end if it's in good nick, and head gasket

yeah but i will sell it for 1000 and comes complete with head and everything else. deal? it is all in good condition

      See, that button sounds like perfection Duncan! My eyes really don't like light shining at them from a dash when I'm driving. Being part red colourblind, I've found for most cars that I can change colours on, I set everything to red, so my eyes see the elast amount of colour! I miss normal gauges in cars

      Maaaan so many "little" things  i rly hope my old RB20 would be "ok" and not too bad. I try to learn what and what not do i need. I look at crossmember at it looks different...even parts numbers are different. Wiring and all that i rly do not know...yeah someone mentioned the speedo thing. On that yoke clip. I rly do not know what can and cant be done "custom" so that is why iam asking to know and not be suprised 🙂  I know what it looks like

      Oh, there's also the gearbox crossmember which will probably be different between the small box and the big box, and the wiring loom will probably need to be modified, because the plugs for the switches etc, will probably be different. And I think the speedo on the small box R34s is from somwhere stupid, like the diff, possibly, so you'd need to work out what needs to be done about that (assuming it is different). I think the thing you need to realise is that the front end of that yoke is a large hollow tube with splines on the inside that mates with the splines on the box's output shaft. It is a dedicated thing - not available "aftermarket". They were made to suit that box, by the car's OEM.
