I like many others have had the annoyance of a missfire at 4-5000 rpm. After looking at various threads on this forum i removed my coils and due to signs of arcing to the rocker covers taped the s*** out of them, and since before i bought the car the 100 000k service had just been carried out and new plugs had been put in then i asssumed they were ok!

Bad mistake. when problem persisted i decided to check my plug gaps.. upon the removal of number one plug the porcalain insulation was broken into three peices. thanks bob romano performance motors!

i replaced the plugs and now car drives like a dream!! just goes to show the movie quote is true:

Assumption is the mother of ALL F*** up's.
