R33 Rims Sizes - Whats The Best?

hey guys i've got my tax coming in soon and wanna get some rims.

just wondering how heavy 18"s normally are? and what profile i have to run to keep my speedo sweet?

do 17"s look too small on the 33? if you have pix of your car with 17"s ir 18"s can u please post em up.

17inch rimms will give you a nicer ride and a better selection of tyres at a better price mind you i have 18s and love them untill i have to buy tyres for them, $250 each for the most crappy tyre you can get in 265x35x18

Go with the 18's.

you can either have 225/40/18 or 235/40/18 without upsetting speedo etc.

Post up a pic of your car with stock 16" wheels and I'll photoshop some scaled 17" and 18" wheels on to show you the difference if you like.

mine with 17s on.. I reckon its a good size. Just lower it a bit more at the back and its sweet!!

18s if you want to fill the whole guard up.

yea 17s is fine!! the p1s there has semislicks on!! so makes it look even better!!

i was going to get some apec apache's in 17". tried a photochop but wasnt sure on how big to make em so they are only just bigger than my 16's. You guys reckon they look small? the 17's in white look good tho.

2) LMGT4s. (NISMO)

3) Buddy Club P1s.

4) Avs 6's

5) Cr-kais..

you get the idea right??

I have pics of all the rims posted above on a silver 33 and it looks pHAT!!!

But each to their own tho.

Do what you like, but dont buy cheap looking rims, which will cost you the same for a 17inch jap set.

i've seen some white buddy club p1's and white TE-37's in there recently.

Personally I think 17's still look a bit small. I've got two piece kakimoto's in 17's.

Yeah, 17's are big enough, 18's are bigger enough. lol.

The main benefit of 17's ? .......is the price of tyres.

I've got 18's (235front, 265rear), and I love them. But I've seen some wicked 17's on R33s.

17s are fine.. just make sure you get the width/offset right

when in doubt, hang em out the guards
