Afm Differences?

Hey Guys,

I have a 32 GTR that is going to be undergoing some significant upgrades shortly. The target output is 330awkw so obviously the AFM's need to be upgraded. By my calcs, 2 x RB25 AFM's will be more than sufficient to handle this power output, and as i am running a Power FC, coumpatability shouldnt be a problem. I know that everyone usually goes down the Z32 path, but i dont see the need in spending the extra money if the power will be well within the RB25 AFM limits.

My question is, is there any difference in outputs or specs between the series 1 and series 2 r33 afm's??

Has anyone tried this before and if so, how did it go??

RB25 Series 1 uses 4 wires (extra earth)

RB25 Series 2 uses 3 wires (only single earth)

Both are interchangeable and compatible if you change the plug to suit the AFM you use.
