Uas Cold Air Box Any Good?

Hey all im thinking bout getting a apexi pod and putting in this UAS cold air box. Are they any good??? from what I gather they look pretty good and they seem to block the heat from the engine bay and the pod gets the air from behind the headlight. Does this sound bout right????? Whats everyone think bout them?? I know you can get a tube and get more air from the front bar but just wondering how good they are as is????

they're as good as any other one there is out there. i'd definatley recommend getting an air pickup though.

i had one same air filter too.. prettty good saved me from cops a few times for defects

yeah best to get a cai pipe done from where the stock cooler pipe was

I've got one. Nice and tidy, fits straight in. Im getting a cold air feed fitted to mine too in the next coulpe of weeks.

Yeah I have stock intercooler and piping so how is it just the way it is without extra cai piping???

If you dont have the option of re-using the factory intercooler hole for a cold air feed - I dont see how it would get much cold air behind the passenger side light. I would think the aluminium cold air box someone sells on here with the perspex lid would be better, it utilises the factory snorkel.

Do any of you guys know where to get an airbox like this for a R32 (rb20)? I have been looking and have only found shields that wrap around the pod, and need a box like this. Most companies only make em for r33 demit

bought one the other day. easy to install. good fit. only thing that was crap was the hole for AFM was not big enough.

they are good, i had one for years and never got defected for the pod, whereas god done for plenty of other stuff lol
