I had a VG30 BB Turbo on my RB20DET.

It lost the response and actually didn't feel much quicker at all.

Apparently the VG30BB Turbo has a Smaller compressor than the RB25DET turbo but large exhaust housing... I think..

I know it definately has a smaller compressor however.

What some people have done is used the RB25DET Compressor on the VG30BB Turbo and have had good results.

Don't waste your time with the VG30 Turbo.

I've gone back to the standard turbo and are running 16psi. It is heaps quicker on the street.

Pulls away from 255LS1 Manual Commo's so that enough for me for now.. At uni now so i've got no money. :D

I read about that on a site for C18's I think it was... On a silvia/180sx site.

I did a search on google.

At the end of the day it wouldn't be worth the hassle with the vg30exh and rb25 front. To much $$ by the tie the turbo is balanced etc.

A VG30BB is $600. Spend the extra $400 and get a t3/4 or highflow.
