I have a 200sx running an rb25det that I'm currently taking to about 500bhp.

I was going to run a power fc but sold it to go for a map sensor. I then bought an AEM ecu, but now it seems that after a lot of problems between aem and rb25's that some issues are not going to be resolved, at least for the time being and as the car has been off the road for 3 months now (again), I'd just like to move on.

I have heard of cars suffering random unexplained miss fires etc... (anyone who knows more let me know please)

I am now thinking of returning my AEM ecu and have been considering my options....

there is not an rb25 d jetro so the power fc is a no go.

does anyone know if the link ecu's run map sensor?? wide band?

what price is motec or omex?

I am interested in the motec M48, has anyone used this? any links or info would be great.

I need to stay wwith the map sensor really as I plumbed in my new plenum for the map sensor and dont want to start again to stop unmetered air issues with a maf.

by the way, I'm in the uk so i'm not sure if anyone here could map microtech etc.....

thanks

Tom

Hi Tom, you made the right choice in the first place, my suggestion would be Power FC with Boost Control Kit (BKC). Use the map sensor take off that you have made for the BKC map sensor.

A Motec M48 won’t run a 6 cylinder fully sequential, you really need to be looking at an M600, for around twice the cost of a PFC with BKC. The price of the ECU itself is almost irrelevant, it’s the cost of the install, initial set and tuning where the Power FC has it all over the others.

:( cheers :D

The new Link Plus G2 will offer best bang for your buck ecu if you prefer map sensed option.

Also it has twin active knock sensing function. (fully configurable)

Support for wideband, logging, sequential injection/spark, so many inputs and outputs its not funny.

Check it out for sure.

Do I need to get a BKC if I have an SBC-ID already? I dont understand, Are you saying I can run a map sensor with an apexi power fc?

do not run a motec unless your are going to use ALL the features.

power fc is good, but you still have a afm getting in the way.(makes doing a legal air box abit tricky if your not running stock turbo/suction pipe.) link or vipec plug in would be the go. id say autronic but as far as features go the vipec/link have more.
