Some awesome photos in there! Cheers to all the photo people for doing what you do best~ More memories for the grandchildren

After seeing some of the shots in Silver's album, it is 100% obvious that my car was too low :ban:

My fisrt day at Eastern Creek back in 98 I think it was with my stock standard R33 GTS-T was 2 min flat.

Thanks John, I feel all inadequate now!!! Thought my 2.03 was ok with exhaust and suspension.

Apparently I need to try harder, much harder! jeez...

Thanks to all the photographers! Great work. Silver Arrowz, can we get the hi-res versions? you can pm me if you want.

Hey, how do you think it makes me feel!!! Bugger this turning shit, I only want to drive in straight lines...

J/K'ing!!!!

corners are where it's at :D

Slot car went well 1 min 45.56, KAAZ fixed traction problem although being 2 way it pushes the car into a few corners so looking at doing something here.

Can't wait for the big one with the SAU Vic boys 10th November.

You better be ready to run in the 1.30's mate if your going to be playing with us! :D

wilch; a few of the photos of my car in Silver's album show my rear end almost dumped on the ground!!! That's my very inaccurate gauge of it's ride height relevance to that track.

On a good note; I've noticed that the once un-even wear on my front tyres have now fixed themselves after the track day... good old natural evolution (or not so natural) :D

OK! It's finally all done! Phew! :D

153 images and everybody's there. Thanks for putting on the show and I hope you enjoy them.

FANTASTIC photos.

Thankyou for posting them.

I had mounted a video camera, made a bracket and bolted it through the child restraint mount. But got knocked back from scrutineering because it had to be in an enclosed capsule and strapped down. Hopefully I will make something up for next track day.

Great work

That seems a little over zealous but I suspect that if you take a common sense approach of, no doubt it is secured completely firmly then they wouldn't have a problem with it. They don't like things that move around.

My dodgy sensibilitties say that I'm wearing a helmet so there's only so much damage a video camera can do to me in a crash.

They hate my amp in the boot cos it moves slightly on it's mount. It doesn't move more than a couple of mm and it's in the boot so can't get me anyway but that's their general philosophy so that's what we aim to deal with.

The strange thing is that of all the track days I've been to (about 20) it's only at the two RENEW days that anyone cared. I've asked around and people say that each scruitineer is slightly different and has his or her particular foibles. Next track day I will inform you all again in advance that this is where it's at.

All that said, they are there to make us safe, not make our lives a misery.

Did anyone get a photo of Stan's surge tank setup with it's webbing of cable ties after the scrutineers got to it? hehe

and stan, did you kick up a stink back in the workshop afterwards? :D

Silver- Arrowz absolute top quality pics I am impressed, really. I would like to use some pics on our site if OK including that in your face black R34 thing.

Snowman yes 1 30's is quick and will lose the anchor on the love boat and then we party.

You realise even 1 min 39 is like a 1 min 4 or less at Wakefield.

Yep go for it!

If people could be patient with the pics. They're coming but thanks to unwired's SNAILband internet, it's awaiting uploading.

Yeah the scrutineers absolutely LOVED my fuel setup... I don't even know why I lined up for scrutineering when Adam pointed it out at the start.

In the end; thanks goes to the blokes who lent a helping hand in "securing it"... much appreciated! Think I might make a stainless plate that holds it in place and keeps it from view, that way they won't even know what's behind there!

Might I add that the scrutineer dude must've been shitting bricks after that RX-7 blew up...
