As the title suggest, i am after a R32GTR Front bar (pref N1 (Slots)) to suit a R32 Gts-T. If anyone has one or the means to make one-please let me kno and send a few pics and possibly some details to [email protected] so i could possibly come have a look.

Any response appreciated.

Cheers, David

Yeah ive checked there...pretty bloody expensive...i have sourced one i think from spead dreams for a little cheaper, but was hoping i could find a used fibregalss one for cheaper or possibly even a real one (the ones made outa the hard plastic) for a bit more which id be prepared to pay for.

Cheers for you help tho...Any other ideas?

Ah k cheers, mate thanks for the heads up. Im looking round but only thing i can find is genuine ones for lotsa money and wrong color, or fibreglass ones which are quite perfect(N1 slots arent genuine etc etc).

I spose unless i can find a gd used one...ill have to pay the $$

So no one has one....I swear i saw 2 on here a couple of wks ago for sale, but i wasnt quite ready to buy at the time. I can probs get them from interstate but its a bitch with getting it over here undamaged.

Looks like ill have to go from a dealer (Speed dreams) or get it in from interstate.

If anyone knos bout one let me know.

Cheers, David

Yeah as deluxe said try Viva out they should be able to souce one for you.

I had mine up for sale a few weeks (on here) ago and now all of a sudden i've literally got almost 10 people wanting to buy it.

Should of jacked up the price to $200! (Supply and Demand is a bitch!)

    • HKS trigger kit should be very easy to integrate with a Link. It's a 36-2 crank trigger. Hard part is finding the motivation to take off the timing belt and everything on the front of the engine to install it. You also need to cut out a hole in the oil pump housing so the sensor can read the trigger wheel. Changing out the cam sensor for a 24 tooth setup is probably good enough but as others have mentioned depending on what underlying assumptions are changed it becomes more of a problem. Reading the crank state off of the cam is an abstraction that works in the general case, but if you have an edge case it makes less and less sense. There is a GTX2860 gen 2 that can take a compact 5 bolt housing so it's direct bolt on but I'm not 100% sure of what's involved. Peak compressor efficiency drops off a bit on these turbos vs -5s, 77% vs 73% but you get way, way wider region of operation. The -5s have a really strange surge line in their compressor map that is all over the place. If you think the hot side on the -5s aren't open enough you can try the Tomei T550B turbos which a local tuner seems to be happy with:
