R33 GTS25 with hicas, abs, airbag, lsd, sunroof and standard (boring) non type-m kit.

coby extractors, 2.5" hiflow cat, 2.5" HKS super drager exhaust from cat back, apexi super intake pod filter enclosed in UAS fibreglass box. running 16x7 and 16x8 bridgestone potenza rims off a silvia, with 205/50/16 and 225/50/16 yokohama A539 rubber front and rear respectively. it handles nicely and doesn't go too badly either (for a n/a).

Sweet info guys. Ill be getting a jap cat back in easter, maybe i can try and stretch the budget to get some local shop to make a nice set of extractors as well.

MearCat, are those trust extractors you have or only the cat back is made from trust? Is the trust system drony and loud?

R34 GT-V

I drive a R34 GT-V, basically a 34 GTT but without the turbo. I understand it was a special limited edition model of the R34 range - featured full GTT running gear, HICAS, uprated brakes, suspension etc but had the RB25DE Neo Strait 6 (as opposed to the Rb25DET in the GTT). It was also available in Bayside Blue (TV2) a color previously reserved for the GTR's (although it was possible to get Bayside Blue GTT's, these were later models that AFAIK were destined for markets outside Japan...)

For more info on the GT-V, see

THATS ONE HOT ASS CAR Demon Dave! :D

want to swap?

wait wait wait... im too tierd to understand this but, does your car have the RB25DET NEO from the GT/T without the turbo or is it the RB25DE NEO from the GT (like my engine)?

if its the RB25DET NEO from the GT/T w/o turbo it would be good to dyno the cars and see the difference... too bad your in Japan :D

nice colour tho... god i love R34's :( Isnt it a similer colour of the R33 400R blue?

meh... its a buitiful car anyhow... bye :(

id love a A'PEXi exhaust system tho... but short on funds :D

Also... how many of us here with N/A lines have a jap exhaust compared to a localy made exhaust? also... what size are they? im getting a 2.25" front to back... is this a wise choise?

Not sure about the specifics relating to the engines - I would imagine a RB25DE Neo Strait 6 is the same in my GT-V as it would be in a GT series, though I could be wrong. Power for the GT-V is rated around 200PS and it looks similar to other RB25DE engines I have seen...

Regarding exhausts, my car is fitted with a Kakimoto exhaust (thanks to the previous owner). Before I got the car I had never even heard the name Kakimoto. I have since heard that they are reputed to be very good, and the quality of the exhaust fitted to my car supports this.

    • Man, I'm kind of amazed that the price of the turbo has not changed in 7 years. Everything else is inflating beyond reason, but not this? Good on Tao / hypergear I guess? Anyways, good luck with the sale!
    • I'm selling my brand new, in the box, never used Hypergear ATR45 - and I had some additions I paid for a few yrs back when I purchased it. Never ended up having the rest of the money to add all the mods at once, so I just ended up slowly selling each part. I originally had it internally gated, with the dump pipe, however I found it was incompatible with what I was going to use it for, so I contacted (I think Ken) from Hypergear, and he and I messaged back and forth & he got me to ship the turbo back, where they modified it & made it externally gated, and gave me the 5 bolt dump pipe attachment for custom welding. (Photos below) This turbo like I said has never touched the inside of an engine bay, it's completely brand new, never used, been sitting in the same box it arrived in, covered in plastic & all. Below are the photos of it: And while the guys at Hypergear were making it in-shop, they sent me some photos of the process: I'm looking at selling this just because I'm in need of the money right now, and don't have plans on modifying the 34 anytime soon - and from reviews & peformance sheets, this turbo had amazing results back when I was researching. The turbo was purchased in 2018 for $1.9k, with the mods I got added on. Looking at the website now, for the same turbo they sell (ATR45SAT), with the current addons it adds up to $1830 for the turbo Current addons included: - Bolted dump adaptor - Ball bearing CHRA - Braided oil feeding line So I'm looking to possibly sell it for around $1800, with shipping included in that 1.8k, It cost me around $120 to ship - so yeah thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone was interested in purchasing. Cheers!
