well i have just brought in a 1994 r32 half cut with a rb25det, did these come out like this from factory or did it just have an engine swap.

im also wondering if it had the rb25 motor from factory, will it also have the stronger gearbox like the r33.

i just want to make sure that this importer hasn't ripped me off

hey

I got a R32 with RB25DE non turbo. Im not sure that they came with turbos but they did come with R33 2.5l engines at later stage before releasing the R33. If it is a turbo 2.5l in a R32 you are looking at 13s man!!! NICE! Would you be interested in selling the half cut?

hope it helps

I just got my RB25DET (series 2) and I was hoping you could help me with some questions.

My Skyline is non turbo so it will be a big step with the RB25.

Now then, my first question is about the gearbox mounts, I hear they aren't the same and I will also have problems with the speedo meter. What do you know about this? Can I use the Xmember of the R33 ??

The second is about the harness, everyone that has ever swapped an engine told me that the harness is the most difficult part of the swap. Do you have the diagram of the R32 and the R33 (still can't find it for the R32) and some pointers on how this is done??

Hope to get a reply from you soon

Why the hell are you digging up 5 year old threds to ask questions that you can find the answers to very easily by searching the forums. Pretty sure you dont need to post the same thing 3 or 4 times in old posts to get an answer
