exactly. there's kits and there's kits. the one on exvitermini, jun, etc are the whole enchilada. just getting a reservoir is not going to make much difference imho unless you needed to create a higher fill point for some reason. the water will cool as it comes to the front of the block anyway and the steam will condense if it travels. problem is large steam pockets occur at given points due to localised heat, hence the take offs you see with the jun type kits. the other issue of course is a good water pump. i reckon a good pump will solve most problems given that RBs have a high bleeder.

thats the problem i have, i have no high point bleeder, currently the highest water point in my engine bay is my turbo water feed :D

hence looking into this setup, while im stuffing around getting a new high point that i can bleed the system off with.

wont be talking too much $$$ as most of the work eccept the water pump will be done by uncle and i in house hes an engine reconditioner and has all machinery necesary to do the head mods that are needed and as for power figure we are really not sure until final tune time

and thats going to be a wile yet only have botom end together at this stage and thinking of going solid lifters for xtra revs so havent touched the head yet...itll take me a while to buy all the bolt ons around the engine itself need to rob a bank cause workin 70 hour weeks sucks

yeah all the ARC kit does is allow steam to be released by the natural high point in the system where as usually it just gathers there. It's still a good idea though and effectively makes the system self-bleeding :D
