ive got a EMS dual sport with hand controller

it came out of my r32 running rb20 with around 215kw at the treads.

it doesnt have wiring loom but you can get them for $100 or you can come pull the one out of my car!

to run EMS you dont need air flow metres!!

it just uses a small sensor that you tap into the pipe just before throttle body.

wat tuning options does the ems offer? why u gettin rid of it?

im getting rid of it because a good mate can get me and tune a microtech for a really good price and dyno time will cost me next to nothing with him.

i would keep the EMS but he only knows how to tune microtech.

well some of the EMS spec are:

injector outputs-8 it can run max-16

ignition outputs-4 it can run max-16

fuel maps-26

ignition maps-26

total fuel points-78

total ignition points-78

auxiliary inputs-1

auxiliary outputs-4

it has data logging/ nitrous management/vtec(YO)control/boost control/anti-lag

and is pc and handset programmable.

also the fuel correction maps/factors are:coolant temp,air temp,full throttle,closed throttle,fuel trim,curve modifier,barometric pressure,variable injection resolution,prediction algorithm.

i had this on rb20 with only fmic and t3/4 high flowed turbo which is off vl commodore and a exhaust and made 215kw.

everything else was stock.

in my opinion this is a top ecu for the price.

what model is it - Stinger _ 8860 ? How many bar is the map sensors - up to 2.8 or up to 5?

i wouldnt be selling a 8860 for $600 there worth fair bit more then that.

all i know its called is a dualsport I the map sensors go to 410kpa not sure what that is in bar.

I've had a dual sport on my RB20DET and soon to be going on to my RB30DET.

I've had no problems at all, a very good computer!
