HELP me Please!!

hi

i got an r32 RB20det... and its developed a big misfire tonite

i boosted 1st then 2nd... at about 4500rpm in 2nd i noticed the car started to surge and stutter, so i immediately backed off... after that the car was sounding like a WRX the whole way home. and it felt like a truck to take off from the lights

however... when cruising along it picked up again and drove normally... then went back to missing... could notice a huge performance difference between the miss and proper firing.

what are some possible problems i am facing?

i run an EMS computer and a MAP sensor... so it aint AFM related.

the miss is pretty much constant now.. but it does go away sometimes.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

does it stutter and misfire even when off boost?

Check the connection onto the CAS

idles normally, it only stutters when its under load.

it does sometimes pick up and drives normally, but then stutters again.

doesnt blow any smoke at all.

i was running 10psi... which shouldnt have beena problem

also, how is it possible to tell if a coil pack has shit itself?

the spark plugs are black ontop, but they still have a gap...

any ideas and suggestions on what to do!!

Does it misfire if you rev it (hold, say 2000rpm) in neutral, or only while you are driving?

problem solved... fouled spark plugs.

Sounds like one of your spark plugs have had it dude...give them a check
