Problem With My Boost..

hye.. im new here.. ive been reading this forum for quite a while now..

i own a er34 skyline, ive worked my ass out to buy this car..

im currently a student staying in japan for now..

the problem is.. when i accelerate in 2nd gear.. (ive set my boost up to 1.1)

the boost reached 1.1 but then the boost started to drop slowly before i can reach the redline..

ive installed powerfc, profecb..

any suggestion ? pls any help guys...

haha.. i cant. they wouldnot take anything that has been modified.

btw im on a tight budget..

are you running the stock bov? if you are it could be leaking under the higher pressure.

is it stock turbo? if it is then it probably can't cope with that amount of boost, so at higher rpm it is forcing the extra air to go out the wastegate. my mate has that prblem on his sr20.

also what dump pipe are you running? that could possibly be the problem too.

im using the stock bov..

ive used HKS SQV but.. when i pressed my clutch for an amount of time. the engine will suddenly die.. so ive changed back to the stock bov..

it is a stock turbo.. so i must change my turbo to solve this?

also what is a dump pipe? hehe..

may be on the limits of your stock turbo mate or your boost controller may not be setup correctly. If you drop the boost to say 0.8 bar does it still drop off? Id doubt that it would be your blow off valve.

if i set it to 0.8. it will stay.

if i accl at 3rd gear it will stay i lil bit more compared when i accl in 2nd gear..
