look at it, most of the time, u can tell them stock apart from aftermarket.

Do you mean to say that I shouldn't expect traction in 1st at high rpm's? I went for a ride in my mate's 200rwkw s13 and it had no problem to the redline. And I think I mentioned mine has no trouble if I have a passenger for a bit more weight. MajorSick also said 370kw and no problem with traction. So what do you mean?

I'm pretty sure previous owner said it was aftermarket. He said something about the importer giving him a choice between a couple of setups... not sure exactly what was changed.

So if you think it would help I will try to get a camera underneath it. When it stops raining of course... lost my garage spot

Can your sava's hold traction in first, and if so do you also have an RB25DET? If so then that would indicate my suspension is the cause of loss of traction.

Yeap it's a RB25DET, but it's an auto though, so take off is relatively slower and not as quick as a manual, so I don't have any problems with traction with the Sava's.

I am not saying the sole cause is the tyres, it does sound more like your suspension needs an overhaul but the tyres do make a difference. Just fitted Toyo's T1R's and I have to say they make a difference in terms of ride comfort and soaking up pumps over the Sava's

ok went in andrews car today..

Wasnt as bumpy as i thought it would be.. A bit more harder than my suspension, but its really not that bad.

I just think hes got some shitty tyres. Hard compound tyres and also the pressure is a little high i reckon.

I got like 1mm of thread left in my rear tyres, and i didnt loose traction in 1st when planted right to 7000rpm.. We got big sideways in one of the corners, but thats expected around a corner.

Anyways andrew i think its just your tyres.

But maybe do an inspection on your suspension if you want.
