R33 Momo Steering Wheel And Bosskit Install Guide

Hi Guys,

I have bought a Momo Millenium Sport 350 steering wheel and a HKB boss kit with Hicass plugin. But i can't workout what goes where i know i have to disable the airbag light (oh its a r33 95 series 1.5). If anybody out there can give me a hand or a DIY with pics or something i will not have a problem doing it.

Hope you don't value your insurance?

I assume that steering wheel is not equiped with an airbag? If so you will have no chance of making an insurance claim if you are in an accident.

Have you got the right boos kit?

There is the cheap one which suits non airbag R33 93-94 approx $80 new

Or the one that suits 95-97 airbag R33 approx $200-250 new

I had a R33 1995 model with a momo race wheel, not hard to install with the right boss kit and wiring harness.

Its the 80 dollar one without the airbag thing, as my steering wheel does not have an airbag. I just need the wiring diagrams etc and i'll be able to do it. Well any help is better then none. Thanks guys/girls.

It is illegal in Queensland to replace an Air Bag Steering wheel with a NONE Air Bag Steering wheel.

I only mention this because It will most likely void any Insurance you have and end up costing you for the fine * $180 * when the Transport department pulls you over.

God Damn, thats pretty stuffed up. Ah well means i gotta buy a new momo steering wheel with an airbag i guess. Only reason being is that my thighs touch the steering wheel as iam fairly tall having the seat all the way back etc.
