Guys,

I'm thinkin of changing my diff oil tomorrow.. and I need some advice..

How hard is this operation ?

Anything to look out for ?

Anything i can do wrong ?

I was thinkin.....

1. Jack the back of the car up real good, so i can get underneath it.

2. Remove the top bung in the diff (is there one?)

3. Remove the bottom bung and drain oil.

4. Stand for about 5mins to drain fully.

5. Replace bottom bung

6. Using my handy-dandy oil pump, pump it into the top bung

-- Until it's FULL right?

7. Replace top bung and go for a burn.

Any flaw in my plan ?

I'm also yet to replace my g/box oil, but with the strength of my monkey-like arms i can't get the freakin' thing undone!

Perosnally i change it every service, i service it myself. If you do a search ull see people reccomending Redline oil, and id reccomend it too. Change it every service, the better lubed up your car is and the more u service it, the more its gonna last and perform better.

Drain it using the plug

Throw some redline lightweigh shockproof in it (you only need 2.5 litres

Seal up the plug

let sit for a while, then go for a drive going easy on it, to let the oil run over all components, take it home and your done
