Advise On Osborne Park Smash Repair

Hi

Just about to get my car repaired under insurance, lent it to a family member & they didn’t see a parked car!!!

It’s nothing serious only needs the back bumper resprayed, but I’m looking out getting the front bumper done too because of stone chips.

I’m with HBF & one of there preferred panel beaters is

"Osborne park smash repair"

96 Guthrie Street Osborne park.

Has any body had work done by them?

If so was it a good job??

Don’t want my baby going to just any one!!!

Any feed back would be great! :D

I am looking for a repair place too, I need some rust and a small dint repaired on my rear arch.

Been told Damge Control in Maddington is good, but friggin MADDINGTON! :D, Anywhere else NoR?

Hi-Lite automotive Body repairs is good there in Bayswater 80 Beechboro road

ive been there a few times and there work is spot on.

or if ur willing to go SoR theres a place down just pass maddington which is decent work but hell cheap

Damage Control quoted me $2500-3000 and they did it for $500

They won't need to colour match because I have a Gun Metal R32 which is Nissans KH2 colour.

Just need a good job done, Hi-Lite sounds good. Just got their number from White Pages.

I have a few mates that work at Wark and Wainwright in Subi...they are really good..took the stagea in there and looks good as new...saw 2 skylines in there also when i was there waiting... :(

lombardi brothers in Bentley is the best smash repair place in WA...

they normally only do the hell rich maseratis and porshes.. when you walk in there they got all sorts of cars like ferraris n shit.. my mate got his 04 Sti done there when he reversed into a corner of a car.. when you look at it now you cant even spot any colour difference or shape difference..looks brand new still.. they even fixed his rear tail light and fuel cap to brand new aswell..

but as KeeFy said.. very costly.

Are Cowley smash or damage control expensive? I need to get rid of the huge wing and get the holes covered and respray and not that rich atm been needing to do this for a while as well. Also has anyone heard of this guy call Leigh located in Bibra Lake that fits and paint bodykits, is he still in the business. Because heard he does a decent job for really cheap too might give him a go.

      I will go over it again, a leak would make the most sense and also explain why I have a high idle issue if I plug the iacv in...I have had everything off, inspected, and replaced every coupler and hose in question, new clamps, reinstalled and basically soaked the entire system with soapy water and find nothing... could there possible be an issue with the wastegate rusted open?? from sitting so long? again the air sound literally sounds like a 3 inch open pipe blowing or sucking air, not just a small passage, very strange. it does sound like the turbo is creating massive air flow but like its not being diverted or flowing into the intake/cylinders, it seems to have very low and delayed power. do appreciate the help

      Boost leak or exhaust leak. Boost could be from anywhere, including manifold/plenum gaskets. Exhaust is frequently head to manifold gasket or from manifold to turbo gasket. Often caused by missing nuts or broken studs.

      Check for spacers on the front, in case they've been pushed out a little to try to match he rears better.

      I should clarify that the previous owner put the wheels on, so Im not entirely sure what he bought. I was searching the Rota page and found these two as the only matches. It did not occur to me that perhaps they sell these wheels with different offsets. I guess the best way to solve this is to take the wheels off and measure them from the inside to be sure.

      The offset doesn't really have anything to do with dish directly. I mean it kind of does but it also doesn't, it's only tangenial. The offset is purely how much offset (get it) the mounting face is from the CENTER of the width of the rim. I.e, the mounting face would be directly in the middle of the 9.5inches if it was a 18x9.5 ET0 rim. Given it is a +12 rim, the mounting face is 12mm further away from the center (to the outside of the car). Your fronts are +30, so the mounting face is 30mm further away from the center (to the outside of the car). I would wager this doesn't look right, because most skylines generally have the same with guards front to back. So I'd think your fronts look significantly more sunken in than your rears. I'd wager by about 18mm, or so.
