ardie
hey people, i currently have a 33 s2 set up 4 casual drift (zeal coilovers, zorst, front mount, 3037 etc) but im looking at getting my hands on a 32 gtst rolling shell and dropping in an rb26 that my mate has sitting in his garage in japan and setting it up as somewhat of a dedicated drifter that will see a little road use every now and then. im choosing the 32 becase of its increased agility due to it smaller size and lighter weight. anywho, im just woundering if some of you could shed some light on the subject 4 me, any information such as cost, time, other misc complexities, additional parts needed (its actually a full frontcut that im getting out of a 33 gtr which ill be mateing up to an rb25 box with OS giken internals). basically any info u have at all would be much appreciated as i want to be fully informed before doing it as iv seen a great number of poorly calculated and thought out projects get of to a roaring start only to die nmid way through due to riseing costs etc. thanks again ardie Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/126044-dropping-an-rb26-in-an-r32/ Share on other sites

ardie
Aren't they like 100 kilo's heavier? exactly! and i just want 2 have the most power that i can while keeping it responsive, 26 = less lag otherwise id just rip out my 25 and put it in, already got some work done 2 that. i just wanna go all out, i dont want 2 turn around after building a 2nd 25 and go "damn i wish id put in a 26" like iv heard a few people on the forums say and also im getting the halfcut pretty cheap and hopefully the shell will be too so itll work out alot cheaper than some old thrashed gtr Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/126044-dropping-an-rb26-in-an-r32/#findComment-2329812 Share on other sites
