I priced Performance Springs today.

They had a listing for rb25det but they couldn't tell me if they will fit my r32 non-vct head.

Oddly they have no listing for rb20.

I have read the non turbo springs are weaker but my r32 skyline manual says the rb25de springs have a free height of 43mm and are 24kg at installed length and rb26 were 46mm free height and also 24kg.

Are r32 rb25de springs the same rb25det springs?

The r32 rb25de springs are identical to the RB20det springs. The RB25de is essentially an rb20det with a larger bore, bigger valves and slightly bigger ports.

VG30DET and R32 RB20DET/RB25DE valve springs are interchangable.

The R32 RB20DET/RB25DE & R33 RB25DET lifters are interchangable.

Not sure if R33 RB25DET valve springs are fine in the R32 head.

A set of std RB26DETT valve springs are fine, they are a tad longer so offer a little better seat pressure. Not the best way to do it but it works.

Nengun aftermarket valve springs for the rb20det/vg30det are around $400 odd postage. So could get away with it for under $500.
