Was the road wet at the time? Sounds like there may have been some oil on the road, which tends to make things a little hairy when it first rains in a while.

ps. If you are on southside, go and see Accurate Suspensions at Timms Ct, Woodridge. I went there recently and was more than happy with the pricing.

Southside as in springwood. Thats where he is as in Accurate Suspension.

My guess tho is if wheels are 45* out of wack, a wheel alinement wont be much help.

$175 for a tow but. Dude get RACQ today. Go fill out the form and get it. You should be a free to go member so it wont cost you anything. Even if it does, pay the money. We got a tow back from the coast and it was less than that.

in this case RACQ wouldn't have helped him much...

they would have seen that the problem was due to an accident and anal raped him even more... (this is because their roadside assistance doesn't cover accidents)

i.e. when my hicas lock bar snapped, they claimed it was due to an accident (it wasn't) and wanted to charge me $350 to tow the car 5km home, because that is their "accident" callout rate

From recent experience, check your lower control arm on the rear, as this is what took the main brunt of my little incident with Mr Gutter

But yes, take it to Accurate Suspension as stated above, they'll sort it out for u

Yeah i was beeing my cool and lets just say i ended up spining the car 180 and sliding sideways into the gutter, totaly fu&!@# the front wheel it was bent in, my insurance took care of it but the parts and all came to $3,500 because i asked the guy, that was just the parts without the labour, most had to come from japan, i also snaped one of the control arms, and i called racq for towing, cost me $230 for about 2.2km prrrrrrffff go the system lol. And pretty much all the parts had to be imported, best advice i can give u is ring up a couple of places first, just go to www.yellowpages.com.au and have a search and give some people a call, some of them might even be willing to come to you and see the car so you dont have to pay for towing again. And because u have a 33 you should be able to find most parts that you need at the wreckers youd be suprised how many 33's can be found at the wreckers, i know because i wanted to find an ash tray for my 34 and they all just kept say that they have 33 3's. But first find out whats damaged, that would be the best place to start.

Good luck man

All your left rear suspension is f**ked (upper, lower control arms, toe link, HICAS, possibly the upright) it will have to be replaced, the front is probably the same. The rear subframe is probably bent, The whole thing will need to be replaced, The calliper should be ok and the disk may be ok of your lucky. Your rims will be rooted, if your very lucky they may be repaired but looks unlikely.

This will be a very expensive repair job if done by a workshop - $3k - $5k depending on how much is rooted. If you do it all yourself maybe $2k.

If your were not doing something stupid at the time, you could have hade something in the suspension fail that caused you to loose control, you'll probaly not find the original fault with all that damage.

Good luck dude.

A wrecker is a place where they have many smashed cars, some not even smashed and you go there and get the parts u need for very very cheap. There are many of them around brisbane.
