Hmmm I 'm in Melbourne

Anyone here, where in Melbourne, know this piping to be made with reasonable price

I been quoted for $450 just for pipe ( I prep. everything like the hole under the washer bottle, the silicon hoses, and even the intercooler has been fixed.)

I thing $450 is excessive jusr for pipe, steel pipe

$450 is a reasonable amount. I got quoted $400 from Hills for the same setup. I also questioned the seemingly high price here and he said it was a lot because you have about 5 mandrel bends in it which are about $60 a pop. So add in the straight bits plus labour then $400-450 seems to be not that expensive.

It's because of this that I decided instead to get a new plenum that takes the pickup from the intercooler on the same side. It will cost more overall, but the tubing from the cooler to the throttle body only has 1-2 bends and is much shorter, therefore this part is much cheaper. It helps offset the cost of the plenum and I get a better setup all round. More power, less lag, cooler intake charge, etc.
