Alright I have an s13 which I am currently swapping an r33 rb26 into and I will be running the rb25 tranny. I am asking if I should use an r32 gtr clutch since the r33 clutch is pull type and the r32 would be push type. Basically which clutch do I need r32, r33 Rb26, or rb25 clutch. Any info on which one to use would be great. thanks guys.

You can get any clutch you want. You can get converters for push to pull type so as long as you get that it should work. I'm assuming you would need a clutch though that works with your tranny though.

and for 500bucks of ebay (second hand) its the best value for money yet.

on another note. i had a nismo gmax. spec 2 in my dr30 (r34 5spd/rb26) it wore out REALLY QUICK).

you can try a good single. but for the same money i know what id raher :O

ps.. 33 5spd gtst is push clutch.

an you can get PULL to PUSH converters not push to pull

Alright so i will be getting an r33 rb26 with a pull type clutch on it. And I will be using the push type rb25 tranny. Is there any way to convert the clutch that will come on the motor to work with the tranny. I basically am looking for the cheapest solution possible right now. In the future I plan to run an OS Giken, Nismo, or Exedy but for now I need a cheap solution. So what is a simple solution preferably a way to use the clutch I have now with the rb25 tranny aka a way to convert the pull clutch to a push. Thanks guys.

dude thats a killer conversion!!!! ive got tha same set up... except r32 rb26 and r33 gtst g/box..

i recomend going for the best clutch you can afford, i have a os giken twin in mine and it hasnt

been able to hold the power!!!!! mine is pumping out 403rwkw @24lb... if your motor is standard

i guess a twin would do......... stuff going a single.. waste of time.. I think singles are for 4 cylinders!!!

Simple answer to a good clutch.

Call Jim (sticky thread in this section)

I have a OS twin with my RB25 box, and that'll be going onto the RB26. Wont be an issue.

The OS did take an exceptional beating, and when we pulled it apart, even though the OS plates are the "thickest" in terms of clutches. It was just about rooted but still worked like new.

That said, and using/seeing other guys with a Jim Berry special... i would choose his should i require another clutch at any stage

no there isnt a way to convert push to pull gearbox. i think..

you are governd by the clutch arangment for the gearbox. not the engine.
