Removing Air box on R32 GTR???

Hi Guys,

I want to remove the standard airbox on my R32 GTR to clean the filter element, but am not sure how to.

I can undo the 4 clips, and remove the top AFM, but have no idea how to reach/unbolt the bottom AFM to remove the box...

Any tips on how to do it?

G,day,not sure how to remove your airbox,but if you want to upgrade to a set of ram pods I'll gladly swap you.At least they're easy to clean.

BNCR32: nah sorry, i really prefer the airbox over the pods.

Mainly coz of its ability to suck just the cold air, and it still gets enough air in anyway.

Aparently the trick is to remove the turbo's outlet hose and undo the four clips and you should be able to lift the top of the air box enough to remove the element without disconecting the lower AFM, though I have found that removing the hose attached to the top AFM only helps because after time the hose becomes stiff and non-compliant.

Which turbo outlet hose am I removing?

I can totally remove the top AFM, but cant get the bottom one undone at all. I tried disconnecting the AFM from the turbo inlet, but cant get a spanner in to do it, very packed in.
