My Car Drinks Too Much Fuel! Help Needed

Can someone please help me, my r33 skyline auto is a 1993 its stock, i put a blow off valve on it (aftermarket) i was told by RACQ that this wud cause backfiring? is this so ? and that it wud make the car drink lots of fuel, even when my car had stok everything it was drinking to much fuel. 5km to the litre.

something is rong can someone help me as wat i shud do please.

Put the stock BOV back on as they are well known to decrease fuel economy then get a SAFC and tune as your car seems to be over fueling heaps

ooh... you win! I get 7km to the litre. And I put a stock BOV back on, it made no difference for me.

I don't have a BOV, economy is the same That's right, everyone just go take off their BOVs and bin them!

it will backfire, but it won't be a huge bang, just a pop.

the amount of time that the car is rich for with a atmo bov is very short. infact most of the excess fuel is burnt in the backfire. most people use more fuel after they put a bov on because they keep boosting it up to hear it blow off. driving along at a constant speed will make no difference to fuel economy.

Strangest thing with mine - after i put my aftermarket turbo back exhaust its gone from 6.7klms/ltr to 7.3klms/ltr

very strange....(rest of the car is stock)
