Basically all im wondering is what have you guys done with your interior? Or what do you plan to do?

If you have had it re-trimmed or modified in some way i would love to see pictures.

I am an Upholsterer (furniture). But i have trimmed some cars mainly my own.

I have been thinking about what i would like to do with the stagea/what can be done with the stagea.

Basically my idea is to re-trim the door trims in red vinyl back seat in red and black vinyl have the stagea badge (unicorn) embroidered into the head rests, have not really made up my mind with the boot yet, probably wont be going with the full show boot install type thing as the main reason i got the stagea was for more space and when summer comes (surfboad in the boot) i dont want the hassel of removing a sub every weekend.

I really want to fit some nicer/sportier front seats. I was thinking about those east bear r34 front seats that C-RED has in the business section, but if i do go down this path it wont happen for a while as ive got a few other mods to spend the cash on 1st before i spend it on seats.

But being that i am an upholsterer i get fabric at cost price through were i work so i will be trimming the seats and doors sooner rather than later.

Here is some pics of the interior of my 1st carwhich i trimmed in vinyl and suede

So please post up pics of your interiors, and also any ideas of what you might be doing with your interior.

Also what you have done with gauges would be nice too as i love gauges but am unsure of where to put them in the stag.

Cheers Simon

I'm getting a set of those leather type seat covers made up with my tax return through the group buy!! :D

Once they use mine they'll have a template, so l'm sure anyone else interested will be able to get them a lot quicker than what l will.

But what l'm doing is black seats, with grey double stiching, and black inserts on the door.

As for guages l'm waiting for my new dash to arrive, then l'll put in the 3 guage holder & guages l got from just jap a while ago.

Does your sis still have your pulsar Fly???

Im having red velour inserts in the doors, with a line of black stitching around the edges.

Seats will be the factory grey/black velour on the headreast and sides/back, but the centre where it is that green cloth pattern will be replaced with red velour, with a line of black stitch up each edge.

Actually halfway through getting a quote done. SHould be a relatively cheap way to spruce up the interior, while looking fairly factory to an extent. not overboard.

ps that car looks awesome in that blue, mate. top job.

Hahaha fuzzy how did i know you would be the 1st to reply lol.

What sort of dash are you getting fuzz? Or what is being done to it? I was considering getting a triple gauge holder but i was not sure on where to put it, i didnt want to put it in front of the clock and you cant put on the passenger air back lol, maybe if i upgrade my headunit to single din i might make up a gauge holder to fit in a din slot.

Yep my sister still ahs the pulsar, but you know what girls a like (well some girls) fuzz they dont check things like oil and water, so she overheated it and did a head gasket, so in my spare time i have been fixing that i should have it back on the road this weekend too.

She is going to sell it soon though but until the day it goes i will be driving it haha cheap petty, but i WILL NOT be selling with the langleys no way.

Thanks mate, it wasnt too bad a job fuzz has seen it in person, it was a little bit rough around the edges but i cant complain much it was the 1st car i trimmed.

lol ... yeah, couldn't find the damn download of etax 2006 on the website, so thought l'd check here and bingo interior thread!!! :D (btw, found program now, damn gov't badly set up site!!)

Same dash, just one of the CF looking one's. Been looking at them for age's on yahoo jp, and found out there's a place in melb that does it. So bought a woodgrain dash cheap from yahoo, and will get it done once it's here. Yeah l'm lucky with my dash, it was broken & my stereo/dvd stolen on the boat over, so l've had a single DIN free since the car arrived for the guages to go in. :D

Lol ... tell me about it, if it wasn't for me l don't think vik would ever touch her car!!!!

haha @ langley's ... leaving them on would double the price of what an n13's worth!!! :D

its amazing how much money just goes on labour, hey. Would be awesome to be able to do most things yourself, hey. I probably could, given a few tries, but its not something i want to risk, and have come up looking dodgy. My hat is off to those of you who can do these sorts of things yourself.

Til i can figure out how to do it myself, anyway... lol

    • Another question sorry, what stainless do u use in the turbo external WG plumb back piping? Is it 321, 316 or 304?
    • Right, its been a while for updating this car, but I made some small but important progress today. In the end I bought an Ecutek dongle from the Australian distributor Tunehouse (for local hardware support) but have gone with a remote tune from Racebox in the US (because they have done millions of these, and I could not find any tuner where I could access the tune anyway as they are all password locked). The App is reasonably easy to work with, but the PC software reminds me of Haltech's ECU Manager that you need to use with the Plat Pro ECUs, it is a nightmare.  Anyway, I sent the details over, got back a tune file and a request for data logs. I finally got a chance to access a private test track today as they want redline logs in 3rd and 4th, and have sent them back for the first round of reviews. The main difference in the tune is going from 1.0 (stock) to 1.3 bar (19psi), although I'm sure is a lot of other stuff in the background. Keeping in mind this is a dead stock car with 125,000klm, this is what the App's performance test claimed: Before After Interesting to note that both 400m tests had the same terminal speed (158klm/h) but different ETs. And no, the speed limiter seems to be higher than that at 186kl/h. Summary of the key logged parameters for the 3rd and 4th gear runs were: Those little turbos were certainly whizzing at 200,000rpm+.  Also I'm really not that excited about oil pressure 55psi at redline so I think I'll go thicker than 5w30 (nissan recommend 0w20....) and see if that improves it. Other than that (and the big boost spike....) everything looks good as a start to me.
    • Just one more post to show the final result and the original "janky" solution for a laugh. Everything feels really tight and no wobbling at all, very pleased 🙂
