Standard Oil Pressure

Guys, i got an r32 gtst...and my gauge always reads between 0 and 4 on the standard gauge in the dash. I put motuul 4100 in it. And to me it just seems too thin.

reason im asking is that my car just konked out yesterday on idol, and i asked a mate and he said it may have something to do with my oil pressure...is this the case?

a) get an aftermarket oil pressure gauge..

b) was it after you'd been thrashing it and just stopped suddenly - e.g. @ the lights..

i'd suggest checking the pressure with a new gauge.. I doubt that the oil is a problem.. what type of 4100 did you put in e.g. viscosity.. alot of people here run 300V and 8100 without any issues, including myself..
