Your spot on mate, only thing "maybe" cams if your budget allows, if it does not, dont worry as they are not essential.

Everything you've listed on the "to be done list" is exactly what i would say... Just make sure the fuel pump is getting the right voltage and you should have a good setup

i currently have 228rwkw also chasing 250rwkw

i have

power fc

hiflow plain bearing turbo

walbro fuel pump

ces split front/dump pipe

FMIC

AVCR ( Set on 12 psi )

Hiflow cat

3"exhaust

I am soon to have installed a Z32 AFM , nismo fuel reg, and 555cc injectors, and goin to bump it up to 18psi

We are led to believe, might be able to crack 260rwkw safely

And as for lag, mine has hardly any at all, even though its plain bearing and does produce more heat, and more time to spool, Too small of a turbo to notice .

Im in the same situation as for not wanting to open up the engine, as this will be my last of mods, b4 i would have to look at doing this, if i want my engine to last.

how much power is it safe 2 make with an rb25 and how long will it last for being a daily driver.. happy 2 peg it at more like 200kw fro daily drives but want more when teaching ricers leasons

250rwkw is pretty much the limit ( as i have heard) on a stock engine

making sure you do oil changes, and keep up maintenance.

200 rwkw is pretty safe to drive around on, aslong ya not flogging the crap out of it every second,

I have been on 228rwkw, every now and then give it ago, for about 5 months or so, havin the injectors and afm on its limit.

I really should get the 555cc injectors in and afm changed, but still saving, and spending money on piss and fuel.

And i ran 230rwkw and mine died... who gets what is really irrelevant.

Hell i've seen a stock RB26 bottom end thrash out over 500rwkw.

It died in the end, as with everything

Anyway, 250rwkw is a good target and a good limit.

Much more than that on the street is pretty much pointless anyway without spending mega $$$ on tyres and suspension etc etc.

Ive seen just under 400rwhp last (and still going) on a standard rb25 for quiet sometime! If the tune is right and you treat it properly your target is no problems for the motor, wether or not your turbo will do it you'll have to find out!

As mentioned regular oil changes keep your motor happy hehe
