Revs Fluttering Whats Causing It?

Hey guys just wondering if anyone can help? I ve got an R33 Turbo and when i was driving yesterday i noticed when i came to a stop the revs would start jumping going from 700rpm to 500rpm then back to 700rpm and so on. The car didnt stall but it sounded like it came close a couple of times. Any ideas of what it could be? Cheers

idle sensor.....I have no idea what or where it is though.

umm i have this problem too very common with an r33 could be a number of things your idle up motor (acc valve) located on the back of the pletum is really dirty, AFM is dirty these two a the first things to try if not dude try your pvc valve like move it around and make sure its in tight, or maybe your coil packs a on the way out

Wicked cheers for the feed back fellas i think i might just take it to John Hughes were i bought it and get them to check it out as its still under warranty.

Also how much does it cost for new coilpacks?

Badga......also check all the vacuum hoses around the engine bay...particularly one leading to the regulator at the front of the fuel rail.

Clean the ACC valve!! It fixed my problem.

Do a search there is a article explaining how to remove it.. Its fairly easy to do

i had that problem it was due to my aftermarket blow off valve so u have to increase the idle from that valve from stalling

yeh iv got this problem as well, as soon as i put on a turbosmart supersonic blow off valve it started doing it, about half of the time the car actually stalls, how do you adjust it?

you got to adjust the valve on the back of the plenum u got to adjust it out ways
