Ithought the whale's LSD was pretty good...

or why dont we just swap diffs, and you can weld yours up

Umm, I think it'd be quicker to swap the whole diff assembly. Never done it myself, but I've been under there a few times and I was just scratching my head wondering how to do it !!

I rebuilt my LSD, two of the plates had stripped tangs. I replaced these plates and fitted four extra plates by removing the spacers. Best diff i've ever had, only chirps under medium acceleration in first coming out of driveways. The car is heaps better to drive, it accelerates hard out of corners, whereas before it used to fry the inside tyre. Awsum for donuts as well.

i picked up a 2 way cusco mech diff the other day, after seeing how controllable slide is in a mates car, i cant wait to get it in! I used to try and get the back out a bit with the stock LSD but its way unpredictable, if the inner wheel starts spinning or you back off a bit too much, it snapped back making the car and driver look stupid. Just curious as to what others have paid for 2 way diffs, and are these more expensive than the 1.5 way or are they both good but for different purposes?

I also manage to buy a Nismo 2-way LSD, but haven't got the time to put it in just yet:(
