Hey lads, i decided that i really dont need my oil catch can, obviously because im not running enough boost to warrant having one and also there is a lot of oil misting coming from it, and its making a right mess...

do i simply just link the hose back into the top of the engine?

or could anyone show me pics of what should happen with that extra piece of pipe that goes from the crank case thing to the catch tank?

so you want that oil mist that is making a "right mess" to go back into the engine?

if you are getting oil mist, then you NEED a catch can, as that is what it is for... removing the oil from the air/pressure in the cam covers/head.

s as that is what it is for... removing the oil from the air/pressure in the cam covers/head.

this air goes back into the turbo air feed between the turbo and the AFM

without a catch can. that oil that the catch can is collecting goes into your air feed. then into combustion chamber which can actually be a contributing factor to pinging

you dont get to a power level then need one.... if you catch can has got oil in it, then your motor has blowby and will need it.... and you should get a comp test done to check its health as excessive blow by is bad!
