Sorry i meant if u flare your guards it ruins the lines, my paint cracked cos it was like 1/2 a mil thin!! Plus i got mine flared out about 30mm

Im sure if u want your guards lipped and have decent paint u got no problems at all!!

with rolling the guards on a 33gts-t to fit 9" rims on the front, what would u say the chance is the paint will crack?

come down to alot of things if the rubber has touched the paint how old it is blah blah

there is not much to roll on the fronts but it is worth it becuase there is potential to pull the lip out at full lock with the tyre catching on the inner lip thats the only reason i do it as i can't flare the fronts

when the guards are rolled, if the paint does crack, what part of it cracks/flakes off? anyone got a pic of the flaking, or just a pic of a guard pointing out what part will be affected?

the part that dose flake off is where it is folded so right on the seam

if you are real worried abot the paint cracking, u can cut the inner lip with a grinder very carefully, but the problem with this is that it makes the guard weaker and also creates the chance of rust.
